Dorothy was born in St. John's Newfoundland on March 17, 1917. She married Thomas Gordon Parker in 1942 and moved to Port Arthur. She was predeceased by her parents Elisha and Mary Emma West, her husband Thomas, January 3, 1969, sons Thomas Billard, March 10, 1978 and Doug Billard, June 24, 2001, brothers Peter, Tom, Alex and Ron, sisters Blanche, Molly and Beatrice. She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Linda Gifford (Don) of East Selkirk, Manitoba, twin sons Tom Parker (Fran), Joe Parker (Janet), daughter Sharon Ulvang (Paul), son Ken Parker and one brother Douglas West (Kay) of Buffalo, N.Y. , grandchildren Kathy Curran of Oshawa, Ont. , Michael of Toronto, Kim Krupa of Edmonton, Lee Lavallee of East Selkirk, Manitoba, and Allen Gifford of Winnipeg, Kevyn Parker of Calgary, Kourtney Parker of Toronto, Kyle Ulvang, Stephanie, Brittany and Jennifer Parker of Thunder Bay and 4 great grandchildren David, Kadessa, Charity and Tanner. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 8th at 2:00 p.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street, with Rev. Randy Boyd of Trinity United Church officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation for friends will be for 1 hour prior to service time. As expressions of sympathy memorials to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff off Central Park Lodge, especially, Karen Parker, Carol Reinett, Carol Culhane, Liz Pervais and Lisa Pantti for 8 years of wonderful care. A Mother's Love Is A Blessing No Matter Where You Roam Love Her While She's Living You Will Miss Her When She's Gone Love her children"
