  Notes	There are two records available for the marriage of Martin West. One indicates his wife's name as Elizabeth Whiteway and the says Mary. Elizabeth is listed in the Newfoundland, Canada, Births, Marriages, and Deaths 1850-1949, Marriages 1891-1892 Volume 01 Mary is listed in the Newfoundland, Canada, Births, Marriages, and Deaths, 1757-1901, Fogo, Musgrave Harbour, Marriages 1874-1891, Vol. 84 of the Newfoundland Vital Statistics Collection. Vital Statistics were copied from original records so it is possible there was an error and the name should be Elizabeth, not Mary however, it is unknown for sure.
