In loving memory of Norman Watson Head of Heatherton who peacefully passed away at the Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook, NL, on Thursday, October 12, 2017.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving wife Alice; stepmother Hazel; sister Zeta Hulan; brother George (Patsy); extended family; brothers and sisters-in-law; godchildren: Carolyn Chaffey, Kenzie; Kylie Cook as well as special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by his parents Naaman and Daisy Head and a baby sister.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the medical staff of both Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital and Western Memorial Hospital. Also a special thank you to Dr. Jake Vermaak.
To honor and respect Norman's wishes cremation has taken place at the Humber Valley Crematorium. A private family service with inurnment in the United Church Cemetery, Heatherton, NL will take place at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing,
