- Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, April 10, 2023, Eric Greening of Bunyan’s Cove aged 71 years.
Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Katie Greening and parents-in-law, Leslie and Gladys Penney; brothers Wayne (Loretta) Greening, David (Shirley) Greening, Morley Greening; sisters-in-law, Betty Perry, Marie (Ned) Matchim, Ruth Clouter; brothers-in-law Alex Penney, Sam (Ann) Penney.
Left with fond and loving memories his wife of 49 years Irene and son Lawrence; sister Ina (Lorne) Trickett; brother Clyde Greening; sisters-in-law, Anne (Greg) Pitts, Shirley (Glenn) Marshall, Edna Greening, Sheila Penney; Charlotte Oldford; brothers-in-law Clayton (Lois) Perry, Wallace (Jane) Penney, Harley Penney, Barry (Lorraine) Penney, and Malcolm “Bon” Clouter; and a large number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Eric’s family would like to thank the first responders, and the medical staff for the excellent care he was given at the Health Sciences Centre Emergency Department and Coronary Care Unit.
Resting at the Anglican Church in Bunyan’s Cove. Visitation will be Thursday at 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm.
Funeral service will be held at the Anglican Church in Bunyan’s Cove on Friday, April 14 at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in Bunyan’s Cove.
