- Roy was born August 12, 1949 in Campbellton, the fourth oldest of eight children, to Bessie and Frank Wareham.
He met his wife, Sandra while working at NLHC. They married in November 1996.
Roy was a devoted husband and father. He was well known for his warm personality and friendly smile. He was a very talented craftsman who did everything from, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and whatever he put his hands to was done to perfection.
Roy Clarence Wareham passed peacefully away on March 25, 2019 at the Central NL Hospital, Grand Falls-Windsor at the age of 69 years. He retired from Newfoundland Labrador Housing Corporation.
He was predeceased by his parents: Frank and Bessie Wareham; sister, Donna Ludlow; brother, Glen Wareham; brother-in-law John Kitchen.
He leaves to mourn his wife Sandra; son Rick; daughter, Joanne (German Perez Arango) Wareham. He also leaves his sisters: Geraldine Kitchen, Marie (Melvin) Penney, Jackie (Don) Snow, Joan (Ray) Harry; brother, Ross (Marg) Wareham; brother-in-law Keith Ludlow; sister-in-law Peggy Wareham; two grandchildren: Jordan and Shannon; 1 great-grandson Landon and a circle of other relatives and friends. At Roy’s request cremation has taken place.
Pastor Robert Parsons will conduct a Memorial Service at Hoskins Funeral Home, on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 3 p.m. for family and close friends.
