  	SAMSON, Hattie Mildred Passed away suddenly at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on October 8, 2007, Hattie Mildred Samson, age 59 years of Lumsden. Predeceased by her parents, John Abbott 1954, Lillian Abbott 1995; brother, Harold 2000 and sister, Stella in 1980. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, are her husband, Hank Gibbons; four sons, Ken Samson (Tanya) of Gander, Brian Samson (Angela Blake) of Toronto, John gibbons of Alberta; three daughters, Debbie (David Kieley) of Gander, Penney Gibbons (Gary Crocker) of St. John’s, Tammy Gibbons (Dwight Ricketts) of Alberta; three brothers, George Abbott (Bonnie) of Musgrave Harbour, Wilbur Abbott (Elizabeth) of Ontario, Clarence Hayward (Pat) of Ontario; sister-in-law, Marilyn Abbott of Blaketown; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy, Brandon, Alyssa, Bradley, Marina, Matthew, Damien, Dillon, Megan, Melissa; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on October 12th at the United Church, Lumsden with Rev. Boyce Parsons officiating. Interment followed at the United church Cemetery, Lumsden. Donations in her memory may be made to Merry Meeting Senior Citizens Centre, Lumsden. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove-Musgrave Harbour.
