  	GOODYEAR, Phyllis Jean– Passed away peacefully at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, December 24, 2007, Phyllis Goodyear of Carmanville, aged 79 years. Predeceased by husband Douglas Goodyear, son Ross Goodyear and her parents Jessie and Bertha West. Left to mourn are daughters Leone (Allan Chubbs), Bonnie (Gary Gabriel), Peggy (Gus Hernandez); daughter-in-law Peggy Goodyear; grandchildren Darren, Michelle, Vanessa, Jessica, Dwayne, Allan, Amanda, Paul, Angie, Rafael and Giovanni; great-grandchildren Meagan, Lesley Anne, Mackenzie, Ryan, Denzel, Abbegayle, Rossley and Christopher; brother-in-law Maxwell (Tryphena) Goodyear; sisters-in-law Jessie (Neil) Newbury and Janet Goodyear; nieces and nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Emmanuel United Church, Carmanville. Funeral Services were held December 26, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment at United Church Cemetery, Carmanville South. Arrangements entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey’s Funeral Home, Lewisporte.
  Notes	Phyllis was adopted by Jesse and Bertha, who had no children of their own. Phyllis's name was Phyllis Leroux. Her mother had died from drowning when Phyllis was a young child Source: Descendants of Joseph West
