- OLIVER, Hilda May (nee Blundon) – Passed peacefully away on Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex, Hilda May Oliver, aged 92 years. Predeceased by her parents Ezekiah and Elizabeth Blundon, husband William, two sons William and Gary, three sisters Winnie Smith, Blanche Thorton and Gladys Lahey, two brothers Eloyal Blundon and Fred Blundon. Leaving to mourn two sons: Eloyal (Loalie) and Tom (Gloria); one daughter Donna Pilgrim (Allan); 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother: Charlie Blundon (Margaret), Halifax; daughter-in-law Darlene Oliver; sister-in-law Louise Blundon; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral service to take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
