It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dulcie E. Park announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Thursday, September 27th, 2001 in her 91st year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Elvie with whom she resided and Ida (Rex), of Orangeville, Ontario; sisters: Rita Lawrence, Violet Parsons; brothers: Rodney Blanchard, Lawrence Blanchard all of McIvers; 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren; and a large circle of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William T. Park, June 11th, 1973, her son Thomas, November 18th, 1954, daughters: Kathleen House, January 12th, 1973, Stella (Roy) Park, July 2nd, 2000, parents Levina and Luke Blanchard, sisters Phoebe Lovell and Florence Park; brothers Russell and Herbert Blanchard. The family will be receiving friends at the Anglican Church of the Epiphany in McIvers Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. followed by the funeral service Sunday, September 30th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Randy Lockyer officiating. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to The Anglican Church of the Epiphany Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home.
