Leaving to mourn with many happy memories, wife: Mabel (nee Sparkes); son: Bruce (Catherine), Carbonear; daughter: Heather (Colin) Clarke, Carbonear; four grandchildren: Matthew, Michael, Katelyn and Devon; brother: Ralph (Betty), Florida, USA; sisters: Rhetta (Don) Mattinson, Lower Sackville, NS, Phyllis Strong, Old Perlican and Bengenia (Derrick) March, St, John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace until 12:00 noon Friday, April 7. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace.
