- There are two birth records for a Maria Luffman Morgan born to Edmund and Fanny Morgan. 12 Sep 1857 in Brazils and 19 Dec 1860 in Petites. Perhaps the first child died and the next girl was renamed the same? It was a common practice throughout many families to reuse names of deceased children. No way to be completely sure until a death record is located however.
