- St. Johns, NL. Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer at the Leonard A Miller Center, Palliative Care Unit, age 67 years. Predeceased by his parents, Daisy and Peter West. Leaving to mourn his life long friend Florence Summers; son Darrell (Kelly) Summers; daughter Sandra and grandchildren: Laura and April; brothers Paul (Brenda), Ron; nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. Resting at Barretts Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Ave from 10am - 5pm and 7pm-10pm Thursday and Friday and 10am - 1pm on Saturday. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 2:00 pm from Barretts Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
