- Obituary:
West, Daisy B. - Passed peacefully away at her residence, St. John's, on April 24th, 1989 in her 74th year. Leaving to mourn three sons: Robert and wife Florence; Ronald and wife Catherine; Paul and wife Brenda. One sister, Violet and husband Tom Soper; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, also a large circle of friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, Freshwater Road at 7:30pm, Monday. Funeral service Wednesday, April 26 at 3:00pm from Carnell's Chapel. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
