This was likely Joseph's son, born 1866. Elizabeth was mentally affected by the death of her daughter Source: "Descendants of Joseph West" compiled by Rex Gibbons Are Elizabeth and Eliza the same person? There are no further records of Eliza after her baptism and no record of Elizabeth's birth but there is a marriage record for her. The vital statistics records are transcribed copies made in the 1940s from parish records. It's entirely possible there was an error in transcription or even in the original records as Eliza and Elizabeth were occasionally used interchangeably or by mistake.
