Predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Graham Janes (2004); her parents, William and Mary Ann Sparkes; her step-mother Diane; her brother Ruben Sparkes; and the precious family pet J.J. Leaving to mourn, her loving and devoted daughters: Betty Spurrell (Doug) Beverly Janes; as well as a large circle of friends – including special friend Freda Janes (Wayne) and her daughter Barbara. Resting at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Monday, April 28, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, and on Tuesday, April 29, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from Barrett`s Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 11:00am, with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Bell Island.
