It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Thomas Lovell announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, on Monday, April 23rd, 2001 at the age of 74 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: his wife of 52 years, Margaret (nee Park); seven children: Kitty Lovell (Sam), Rowena Parsons (Melvin), Roger (Nancy), Dawson (Gertie), Marjorie Lovell (Joseph), John, all residing in McIvers and Gerald (Sharon), Kitchener, ON; 13 precious grandchildren: Kim, Samantha, Regina, Toby, Tina, Colette, Joanne, Timmy, Nicholas, Shawn, Jenny, Janet and Julia; four great-grandchildren: Matthew, Amanda, Brandon and Jennifer; brother, Cain Lovell (Iris), McIvers; two sisters: Matilda Burridge and Gladys Park, both of McIvers, as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Rose Lovell; infant son, brother Wallace and wife Phoebe, sisters: Elizabeth Parsons and husband Joseph, Alice Park and husband John, Dorothy House and husband Jack, brothers-in-law Bertriam Burridge and George Park. Visitation will take place from The Epiphany Anglican Church, McIvers beginning on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 25th at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Randy Lockyer officiating. Interment to follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Corner Brook.
