This is the last Will & Testament of Joseph Blanchard of the Farm, Bay of Islands, being in possession of all my faculties I hereby dispose of my property: I will & bequeath to my sons George Edward Blanchard & Henry Garland Blanchard my fishing stands at North Arm Point and half of the Store at Middle Arm - and half of the Store and wharf at the Farm together with the water front: I also bequeath all my fishing gear - nets Moorings Anchors - hooks & lines, Coopering tools Motor boat & dory - three head of cattle, 3 Sheep, 2 barns & five acres of cultivated land - to be the property of my sons George & Henry. My house is to be a home for all my family as long as they wish to live together My wife is to be supported by my sons as long as she remains a widow. It is my express wish that all my belongings should be kept together & that nothing should be disposed of without it is absolutely necessary.
